It is the perfect can opener for making those pop top gift cans, like Pam makes:

I recently used it, when making a "Birthday In A Can" sample for the upcoming Crop/Contest

At first, I didn't think is was working, but continued all the way around the can lid.  Then I used the pliers tool of the opener to take the lid off & Yahoo!  It did work!  It was so easy!  Best of all, there were no sharp edges!
More benefits, the lid will not fall into a can & you can reseal the can

I have to hid it though, because DH can't figure out how to use it

I'm almost finished with the planning stage of the Crop/Contest

The topic will be Altered Soup Can Labels.

One week prior to the Crop, I will provide a Campbell's Chunky Soup Can template for you to work with.  You can use your own template, if you want.

On the day of the crop, a tutorial will be provided.  You can ask questions & chat with friends if you like.

You will have one week to create your Can Label & submit it to the Soup Can Contest Gallery.

I created two cans this week.  One is "Birthday in a Can", the other is "New Kitty Can".  I need to purchase items to put into the cans, then I will post pictures.

I hope you have fun thinking of something creative to post in the Contest Gallery
