I am in a card swap group that meets about every 6-8 weeks.  There are 12 lovely and talented paper crafter’s in the group, and its always fun to see what people will come up with each swap meet.  I chose a simple card to make this time, and added the cute lil Michaels prego stamp to it, which was very appropriate and brought up the subject of pregnancy so i was able to tell them i was 20 weeks pregnant myself.  So yeah, simple but sweet.

Finally posting pics of the wedding card i made for Nathans cousins wedding a few weeks ago.  Missing from the second picture is the pink ribbon i tied it with, i made it look like a present.  It turned out very cute, and i love using this style of card now.

Nath surprised me a few weeks ago with my own personalized number plates.  I have always wanted just Aussie, but it seems someone one in Cedar Rapids has it, my next choice would of been Ausie02, but i am just as happy with this, and it was a good choice.  People are now starting to notice them and love them!  Funny when your the only Aussie in your town, everyone knows who you are.  :)   Thanks Babe!!!

Here are some cards i made using the technique Crayon Resist. Its super easy and fast, and i made all these cards by using just one sheet of shiny card stock. I think otherwise known as a one sheet wonder? You just add some embellishments and BAM done! Very quick and easy if you need a card on the run. I love using browns, and its so annoying cause i havent found anywhere where i can find CHOCOLATE brown card stock in bulk at a decent price…. So normally i find myself picking it up by the sheet when Hobby Lobby has a half off sale on card stock. So if anyone knows of a great place, please drop me a message to let me know……

We are off to a wedding today for Nathans cousin Kris and his soon to be wife Michelle. I have actually made a card for the event and will try and get a snap shot of it taken soon, and added here. I think it turned out really cute!!!!!!

Sorry that the pics arent sooo clear!  I really need to find a better way to take pics of my cards, but i am usually just rushing to take a pic so then i atleast know its done.  I like to keep a pic of most of the things i make, so i can re make them later, or just to bounce ideas around, or show people my work.   I esp love the second card, it looks alot better irl.  I actually made these cards as a order.  I had a lady approach me at a craft show asking me to make her 12 cards in a decorated box as a gift for a friend.  I quoted her a price, and then was to mail them to her the following week. I personally think it turned out quite well.  12 cards wasent enough to fit comfortably in the box, so i think i even threw in 4 more cards for free to help fill it.  So anyways, i mailed it, and received a email soon after from the lady telling me how much she HATED it all!!!  I mean come on, are the cards THAT bad??  She even brought like 10 from me at the craft show, and i always have about 400 at each show, so she saw my work.  Over the 4 yrs of crafting and selling, i have never had anyone HATE my work.  It upset me so much.   But i guess you just cant please everyone!  Crazy lady!

I have about 400 cards made up at all times, and although i didnt make this today, i did make it and decided to show off some work on my blog, since thats what this blog is for!!!

I have about 12 new stamp sets that i havent even touched yet, i really need to get some more current cards made!!

I am just learning how to do this, but am having so much fun!  Thanks Rach for all your help when i need to ask a silly question!!!!

This is a lil late.  But earlier in the month Bec and Paul became parents again, to Emma Claire.

Isnt she just darling!!!!!!    Congrats guys!!!
