Betty Jo sowed the seed of the idea of a lo using a photo of a pink poppy. Decided it was time I had a lo to match my forum name!!! I take loads of photos in my own garden. It's not unusual for me to rush out with my camera when the rain stops as this offers the chance of some great shots. This one is a firm favourite. The flower has not long unfolded, the petals are still creased and soppy wet. OH and I have a special fondness for these oriental poppies. "Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden." is so often a prayer in my heart while in my own little bit of heaven.
It astonishes me how much I'm drawn to Bette's Sassy Girl as I'm not at all keen on pink or black! But there's something so special about it!
