This photo of my sweet granddaughter was taken in July 2006. At that time Meikina had only been with us for a short time. Even though she seemed happy and content, it wasn't often that we got to see such a joyful expression.

I just adore this layout! It's one of my all time faves. Love the journaling strips, the use of both color and b&w photos, the big M . . . every thing. xoxo

Just wanted to add another thought here. Her smile is beautiful. Having adopted a child at birth... it took Olivia a while to bond to me. So understand how you must have felt that day to see that beautiful smile. When Olivia finally wanted me over anybody else was a joyous day for me.
